AI Flashcards for IT-Security Training

A mobile flashcard app that generates grounded study cards from IT-security course material.

The brief

Students needed a faster way to study dense security material without the AI making things up.

My role

I designed and built a retrieval-augmented pipeline with ChromaDB and Sentence Transformers, so every card is anchored in the source documents. I also benchmarked several open-source LLMs as part of the academic research.

Outcome

A working mobile prototype and a documented comparison of models for accuracy and speed.
